Joined the group in Yoyogi Park on Sunday morning for a pretty slow 17.5 km. Nothing startling, but good just to run. Took yesterday off, then got up this morning at 5:15 and headed out at 5:30 for an hour. With my lower back still stiff, the effort seemed a bit harder than the pace. Ended up running just a tic under 12 km and just a gnat's nut over 1 hour, average pace 5:04. A decent slab was at around 4:50 pace. Again, nothing to set the house on fire, but I'm not complaining. Did some core strength exercies afterwards. Hope they help.

Good on you Steve! I am sure your exercises will pay off in the long run... always takes a while to see the difference.
