Three sleeps to go

Last decent sized run today, but even then it was not much of a run at only 11 km consisting of a 5 k warm up at a slowish 5:30/k pace followed by 3 laps of 1.94 km at race pace. The race pace laps were not that successful in that, as usual, I ran the first much too quickly. The first km was 3:52! With there being no marker until 5 km at Ohtawra this worries me, just as it did last year. I gues I just have to do my best. The next two laps were progressively closer wit hthe third being about right.

Afterwards a group of us followed the Tokyo Womens international marathon, won by Naoko Takahashi in 2:24:39. Our Mika ran a personal best of 3:13:2? We were all very proud of her!!
